Dr. James Efaw
“Pastor Jim” has served as senior pastor of the Beth Eden Baptist Church since 1991. He graduated from Bob Jones University, Greenville, SC, with a B.A. in Bible in 1963, during which time he was president of the student body. He completed his master's degree in Bible in 1965 while serving as a graduate assistant teaching Greek. In 1984 he was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Divinity from his alma mater.
For 22 years, Pastor Jim served as senior pastor of the Cross Lanes Bible Church in Charleston, WV. While there, he was instrumental in founding the Cross Lanes Christian School, which currently has 450 students and it's own 40 acre campus.
Pastor Jim and his wife, Susan, have five grown children and ten grandchildren.
Don Hall has been at Beth Eden since 1997. He holds a B.A. in Music Education from Bob Jones University, and an M.M. in Choral Conducting from the Pennsylvania State University.
Pastor Don is responsible for the Adult Choir, Gloria!, and Proclaim, and he supervises the music ministry in the church and school. He also has a number of other responsibilities including teaching and preaching.
Don and his wife Teri, a piano teacher, are the parents of Abigail and Jordan. Before coming to Beth Eden he served as a music teacher at Centre County Christian Academy in Bellefonte, PA, and assistant pastor at Calvary Bible Church in Centre Hall, PA.
David Locke has attended Beth Eden since 2007. He graduated from Northland Baptist Bible College in 2004 with a B.A. in Bible and a minor in Greek and Theology.
Prior to coming to Beth Eden, David served on the staff of Berean Baptist Church in Macon, Georgia as Assistant Pastor overseeing youth and music. He joined the staff at Beth Eden in 2009 and is responsible for the youth along with various other responsibilities.
David met his wife Heather while at Northland and they were married in 2004. They have two boys, Jonathan and Nathaniel.
Jason has attended the Beth Eden Baptist Church since he was a young child. He graduated from the Beth Eden Baptist School and is a 2000 graduate of Bob Jones University with a degree in Bible and a minor in Christian counseling.
Prior to joining the staff at Beth Eden, Jason served as youth pastor at the Grace Baptist Church of Farmington, NM, for three years. He served as youth pastor at Beth Eden from August of 2002 to August of 2009. Currently, Jason serves as an assistant pastor and director of Camp Eden.
Pastor Jason met his wife, Bethany, while they were students at Beth Eden. They were married at Beth Eden in December 1999. They have two children, Elijah and Zachary.
Mr. Francis was raised in a Christian home and had the privilege of attending and graduating from Calvary Baptist School in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Northland Baptist Bible College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1990 and from Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree. He has a passion to serve the Lord and help young people prepare for life and service to the Lord.
Mrs. Francis has taught in a Christian school for the past several years. The Lord has blessed him and his wife, Pam, with two children: Adam and Amanda.
